Surrounding Area: Cedar Park is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States and is the fastest growing city in Texas. Currently, The City of Cedar park has about 65,000 residents. The site is across 183A from the Cedar park Center, an 181,000 square foot event center with a 6,800-seat capacity and 2,500 parking spaces. The facility is utilized as headquarters for the Texas Stars hockey team, which host 40 regular season games. The facility is also used for numerous special events such as concerts/live entertainment, rodeos, ice shows and trade shows. The Cedar Park Center has hosted more than 450 events with almost one million attendees in the first three years of operating.
The site is diagonally across 183A from The Parke, a 350,000 SF retail center currently under construction, which will be anchored by 365 by Wholefoods Market, Nordstrom’s Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW and the first Field & Stream store in Texas among other tenants. Further, a Cavender owned/operated 58,000 SF Toyota dealership is currently under construction adjacent to the site, which will have up to 90 employees. Completion of both projects is expected by the middle of 2017.
The site is north of the Cedar park Regional Medicaal Center, which is a 93-bed facility with complete inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care. Further, the site is just north of the 1890 Ranch, Cedar Park’s largest lifestyle center with just under one million square feet of retail space anchored by Super Target, cinema, Office Max, Academy Sports and Gold’s Gym. Southwest of the site there is a 153,700 square foot Costco center and an adjacent At Home superstore.
